    It reflects our commitment to supporting every child and family through their unique speech and language journey. As a Filipina-owned practice, we honor our culture and values of connection, community, and compassion, which guide everything we do.

  • Our logo features two interlocking circles, representing collaboration and togetherness. They highlight the sama portion of Kasama (kah-SAH-mah), which means “to join” in Tagalog, emphasizing the partnership we build with each child and their family as we support the child’s communication development. The design is guided by our values of community, compassion, and connection.

  • Contact us by email, phone, or through our contact form.

    As a small, therapist-run practice, we manage both therapy sessions and all administrative work ourselves. We typically respond within 48 business hours (Monday–Friday) and look forward to helping you get started.

  • Kasama Speech Therapy is currently a private-pay practice and an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. This allows us to provide fully individualized therapy without restrictions.

    • Monthly superbills are available upon request for families seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement.

    • We recommend confirming coverage and benefits with your insurance provider before beginning services.

  • We accept:

    • Cash

    • Major debit and credit cards

    • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds

    • Health Savings Account (HSA) funds

  • Invoices are sent automatically after each session. We kindly require that payments be completed before your next scheduled session to help maintain consistent therapy times for your child.

  • We provide a good faith estimate for every session, evaluation, or extra service. Your exact cost may vary depending on session length or additional services, but we confirm final prices before your appointment.

    • Online: Available across California when appropriate, tailored to your child’s goals

  • Yes. Every child needs a current evaluation (within the past 12 months) to ensure goals are tailored to their unique needs. Evaluations can be completed by us or elsewhere.

  • Evaluations typically include:

    • A parent/caregiver interview

    • Standardized and/or informal assessments

    • Observations and clinical analysis

    A written report is provided within two weeks after the evaluation is completed, outlining the findings and personalized recommendations to guide therapy.

  • The first few sessions focus on helping your child feel comfortable and connected. We:

    • Build rapport through your child’s interests and strengths

    • Discuss your priorities

    • Answer questions you may have

  • Therapy duration varies by child. Some may need short-term support, while others benefit from longer-term services. Progress is tracked, and families are kept informed to celebrate milestones and plan next steps.

  • Yes - caregiver participation is essential to your child’s progress. How involved you are can depend on your child’s age and needs, but your role is always important. Being involved allows you to:

    • Practice at home what your child learns in therapy

    • See and understand the strategies we use

    • Collaborate on goals

    Even if your child can attend some sessions independently:

    • You remain an important part of their journey

    • We provide updates after each session

    • You will receive guidance on how to support your child at home

    Tip: Just a few minutes of practice at home can make a big difference!

    • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

    • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, may be charged the full session fee.

    • More than three consecutive late cancellations or no-shows may result in discontinuation of services.
